The Austin Home Builders Parade of Homes has long been a major draw for those looking to take the plunge and pursue their dream home. This annual event, hosted by the Austin Home Builders Association of Greater Austin (HBA), takes place over several weekends and offers potential buyers the opportunity to see custom home displays from some of the finest local builders. Touring these model homes is a great way to examine designs, materials, furnishings and more so that your own construction plans can get some extra inspiration to build on your lot.
Unfortunately, given the current restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the HBA has opted to forego the parade in its usual form in the interest of safety. This year, the parade has gone virtual, giving you plenty of opportunities (and greater flexibility) to see what the builders have to offer!
When you head over to the HBA website for the virtual tour, you have the option of touring five different model homes from five different builders (up from the originally planned four!). The immersive tour experience gives you plenty of options, which is sure to leave plenty of buyers clamoring for future parades to go virtual as well.
